Structure

AXA in Canada’s management consists of a President and Chief Executive Officer, Executive Vice Presidents responsible for all business operations of each insurance company, as well as Senior Vice Presidents and Vice Presidents. The President and Chief Executive Officer sets up several committees to advise him in managing the companies responsibly. These include the Management Committee, the Investment Committee and the Risk Management Committee.

The President and Chief Executive Officer

The Board of Directors has appointed a President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Jean-François Blais, who oversees the insurance companies’ business and affairs in Canada.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Chief Executive Officer is responsible for the following matters:

  • Ensure that day-to-day business affairs are properly managed
  • Consistently strive to achieve the financial and operating objectives
  • Ensure the continuous improvement of the services’ value and quality
  • Develop a long-term strategy and vision, and make sure it is properly implemented
